Maintenance & team extension

We keep existing software secure and running, take over applications from other providers and strengthen your in-house development team.

Software isn’t finished at go-live. Operating systems, frameworks and libraries receive security updates, requirements change, and at some point the one person who knew the system retires.

We take on maintenance and further development, including for software we didn’t build: after a code audit you know where your application stands. And when your own team needs reinforcement, our developers work directly within your processes and with your tools.

Typical starting points

  • Your previous provider has dropped out

The agency no longer exists, the freelancer can’t be reached, and nobody knows the code.

  • Updates are left undone

Security vulnerabilities in outdated versions aren’t fixed, because nobody feels responsible.

  • Your team lacks capacity

Your IT has a roadmap, but not enough developers to deliver it.

  • Specialist skills are missing

For one project you temporarily need experience in mobile, cloud or test automation that you don’t have in-house.

What you get

  1. Code audit

An assessment of code quality, security, dependencies and documentation, with prioritised recommendations.

  2. Maintenance contract

Updates, security patches, monitoring and bug fixing with agreed response times.

  3. Further development

A monthly allowance for improvements and new features, prioritised with you.

  4. Team extension

Developers and testers who work as part of your team.

  5. Regular report

An overview of completed work, open risks and upcoming updates.

How we work

  1. Audit first, then take over

Every takeover starts with an audit. That way both sides know what they are taking on.

  2. Clear priorities

Incidents are classified by severity. Each level has an agreed response time.

  3. Dedicated contacts

A dedicated team looks after your system. Knowledge stays in place, and you don’t have to explain everything again each time.

  4. Embedded, not on the side

In team extension we work in your tools and your meetings, to your Definition of Done.

Frequently asked questions

01 What happens after go-live?

We stay. In the first weeks after launch we support operations particularly closely. After that, we take on maintenance and further development under a maintenance contract: updates, security patches, monitoring and bug fixing.

We set response times by priority, for example for critical incidents, restricted functions and minor bugs. Which times make sense depends on how business-critical your application is.

02 Can you take over existing software?

Yes, even if we didn’t build it. It starts with a code audit: we review architecture, code quality, dependencies, security and documentation, and give you an honest assessment with prioritised recommendations.

Then we take over operations and further development step by step. If the previous provider can still be reached, we plan the handover together with them.

03 Do you also work with our in-house IT?

Gladly. Many projects work best as a joint effort: your IT knows the systems and processes, and we bring capacity and experience from other projects. We adapt to your tools, processes and security requirements.

If you wish, we plan the handover from the start, so your team can develop the software further on its own later.
