Custom software

Software that fits your processes, not the other way round: from internal business applications to replacing Excel and Access solutions that have grown over the years.

Off-the-shelf software covers a lot, but rarely what makes your company different. We develop applications for exactly those processes: order processing, production planning, costing, quality assurance or service, connected to the systems you already use.

It often starts with an Excel file that has grown over the years, or a legacy application that only one person still understands. We analyse what exists, keep what works and replace what slows you down, step by step, without bringing your operations to a halt.

Typical starting points

  • Processes depend on Excel

Critical workflows run on spreadsheets with macros that nobody wants to touch any more. Errors surface late, and the knowledge sits with a few individuals.

  • Legacy systems hold you back

An application built on Access, Delphi or Visual Basic still runs, but it can barely be extended, can no longer be operated securely and cannot be connected to new systems.

  • Standard software doesn’t fit

Your ERP covers the core, but your particular requirements lead to workarounds, manual re-keying and duplicate data entry.

  • Data is scattered

Information from ERP, CRM, production and individual departments is pulled together by hand before anyone can make a decision.

What you get

  1. Process analysis and requirements

We document current and target processes together with the people who work with them every day.

  2. Architecture and technology concept

A reasoned decision on technology, operations and interfaces, agreed with your IT.

  3. Clickable prototype

So business departments can test early, before any production code is written.

  4. Working application

Web-based or desktop, with roles and permissions, logging and export functions.

  5. Data migration

Transfer of existing data from the legacy system or spreadsheets, with validation rules and trial runs.

  6. Documentation and training

For users, for administrators and for further development.

  7. Source code and usage rights

Complete source code in your repository and the rights agreed in the contract.

How we work

  1. Understand first, then build

We look at the work where it actually happens before we write requirements. The result is software for everyday use, not for the specification document.

  2. Step-by-step replacement

We replace legacy systems module by module. Old and new run in parallel for a while, until the new solution has proven it can carry the load.

  3. In use early

A first usable version is ready after a few sprints. Your feedback feeds straight into the next steps.

  4. Maintainable from the start

Widely used technologies, automated tests and documentation keep the software extensible for years to come.

Technologies

  • TypeScript
  • React
  • Node.js
  • NestJS
  • .NET
  • Python
  • PHP
  • Laravel
  • PostgreSQL
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Docker
  • Microsoft Azure

Frequently asked questions

01 Can you take over existing software?

Yes, even if we didn’t build it. It starts with a code audit: we review architecture, code quality, dependencies, security and documentation, and give you an honest assessment with prioritised recommendations.

Then we take over operations and further development step by step. If the previous provider can still be reached, we plan the handover together with them.

02 Who owns the source code and the usage rights?

You do. Once paid in full, we transfer the rights to the code we develop specifically for you. Polish copyright law requires every field of exploitation to be named explicitly in the contract, so we list them all, from reproduction and modification to distribution and operation.

If you wish, the repository lives in your account from day one. Open-source libraries we use remain under their respective licences; we document them in a licence overview.

03 How do you ensure software quality?

With fixed rules rather than good intentions: every code change is reviewed by a second person before it is merged. Automated tests run on every change, and quality assurance is a dedicated role in the team, not a task for the last day of the project.

You can see the status for yourself: every two weeks we show you working software, and you can try things out in the test environment at any time. For security-critical applications we also schedule penetration tests by external specialists.
