Challenge
Automatyczni GM supplies workshops and car owners with everything needed to service, repair and rebuild automatic and dual-clutch gearboxes: seals, filters, bearings, clutch parts, mechatronics repair kits and transmission fluids for gearboxes from ZF, Aisin, Volkswagen (DSG), Ford Powershift and many other makers. It also rebuilds hydraulic gearbox control units. Customers usually search by gearbox code, such as DQ200 or 8HP, rather than by product name.
Sales were running, fulfilment was not: stock was kept in the Subiekt inventory system, orders came in through the shop, shipping was arranged separately, and every order had to be copied between the systems by hand. So the existing shop needed more than a new look. It had to move to one continuous order process, for customers outside Poland too.
Solution
We rebuilt the shop on WordPress and WooCommerce with our own child theme based on WoodMart. A mega menu organises the range by gearbox maker and gearbox type, the home page offers a quick selection by brand and product group, and an AJAX search finds parts by part number or gearbox code. Control unit rebuilds have their own category with fixed prices per gearbox type. Customer accounts, a wishlist, coupons, a returns form and complaints are part of the shop.
Behind the shop sits an integration layer: BaseLinker brings orders, carriers and stock into one flow, stock and orders are synchronised with Subiekt, and the multilingual transactional emails are sent from Subiekt. Customers pay through Przelewy24, Blue Media or PayPal.
The shop is available in Polish, English, German, Czech and Slovak, with hreflang tags for search engines and structured data for the business. A caching plugin and the Cloudflare CDN serve the pages from cache, and a consent tool controls analytics and advertising tracking.
Result
Orders are no longer copied by hand between the shop, shipping and the inventory system. Customers find parts by the gearbox type they know, in four more languages as well, and the team extends the catalogue, gearbox types and guides themselves in the WordPress admin.
